The Pilot Cottages, built in 1896, are the heart of the Mid North Coast Maritime Museum. Once home to the town’s river pilots and their families, these heritage-listed buildings now house an extensive collection of maritime artefacts, historic photographs, navigation tools, and beautifully detailed scale model ships.
Walking through the cottages is like stepping back in time, each room reveals a new layer of the region’s seafaring story.
